Prophets of God are God’s mouthpiece on earth. They preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ. They forewarn and counsel so that we might remain safe and be happy. The Lord has said:

“Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.” 1

Clearly, we must carefully listen to the prophets' call, for God will speak through the prophet to the world to warn, forewarn, instruct and guide us.

The latter-day prophet and apostles have defined family, counseled us about family, and forewarned about the destructive attacks against marriage and family. The fact that the prophet and apostles have spoken out boldly in the name of Jesus Christ about marriage and family should draw the attention of every responsible individual and every government throughout the world.
