Contact a local nursing home and ask if there’s anything you can mail or drop off to safely provide holiday cheer to the residents. On social media, post an invitation for others to do the same.
Jesus Christ was often found among people the rest of society had forgotten. Christmas can be a lonely time for many, and elderly people in care facilities, especially, will likely see fewer visitors this year due to new safety restrictions. Follow the example of Jesus. Let them know that even if you can’t be there in person, they’re not forgotten.
